FEA National Contest Researching Learning Disabilities Included in the contest:
10-Page research paper
A creative and engaging, informative PowerPoint presentation that complements the research and illustrates key teaching points.
Steps to begin the Project:
Divide the 5 different learning disabilities(listed) among peers
Dyslexia
Dyscalculia
Dysgraphia
Dyspraxia
Dysphasia (also known as aphasia or global aphasia)
Each group will discuss and research each topic.
After all research is found some will start the minimum 10-page research paper.
The rest will begin the powerpoint, this needs to be engaging but also informative, and also include each of the learning disabilities along with their research.
Once both are submitted the TOP 5 PowerPoints will be chose to present in front of a panel of judges.
Winners will be announced and also recognized at the FEA national conference.
